Course Overview
Learn the fundamentals of pottery on the wheel in this hands-on 4-week beginner course. You'll be guided through essential wheel throwing techniques, from preparing clay and centering to creating functional forms, trimming and finishing your work. By the end of the course, you'll have developed confidence on the wheel and created your own handmade ceramic pieces to keep.
What’s Included
4 x 2.5-hour guided classes (6:00pm - 8:30pm) each Thursday

Hand Building
Course Overview
Discover the foundations of ceramic hand building in this beginner-friendly 4-week course. Learn essential techniques including pinch pots, slab building, coiling, texturing and surface decoration while creating your own unique pottery pieces. I will guide you to build confidence working with clay and complete a collection of handmade works to take home.

All materials, tools, glazing and firing are included unless otherwise stated.
Classes and workshops run on the dates and times listed at the time of booking.
Please wear comfortable clothing that can get a little messy and closed-toe shoes.
Finished pieces will be available for collection once glazed and fired. Collection times will be advised by the studio.
Due to the nature of ceramics, occasional cracking or breakage may occur during the drying and firing process.
Missed classes may not be transferable or refundable unless arranged in advance.
A minimum number of participants may be required for the course or workshop to proceed.
Participants will be notified as early as possible if a session needs to be rescheduled.
